Flying over the Grand Canyon with Maverick Helicopters

Are you ready for something different? Las Vegas is the perfect place to take a private helicopter flight. Enjoy the vibrant city lights and then explore the surrounding area.

My recent trip to Vegas included a helicopter flight above the Grand Canyon. It was an unforgettable experience. It is a unique opportunity to get a bird’s eye view of this amazing sight.

Start Point

The tour of Grand Canyon by Maverick Helicopters starts in Las Vegas. If you’re within five miles of the Las Vegas Strip, someone will pick you up and take you to the Las Vegas terminal.

You can get a complimentary coach that will come to your home and take you directly to the terminal. It is completely hassle-free.

It can be scary to take off in a helicopter for your first time. Maverick Helicopters’ safety record is very encouraging for those who are afraid of heights.

It has won 150 safety and customer service awards and is the most safety-conscious tourism-based aviation company worldwide. Although it can be daunting to climb up, it is extremely safe and so worth the effort. ).

The Flight

We were able to view Las Vegas from the top and then enjoy the views of the red rock formations and sandstone formations on our way to the Grand Canyon.

We flew over Lake Mead, Hoover Dam and Fortification Hill (an extinct volcano), before landing at the Grand Canyon’s middle.

We stopped for champagne and hors-d’oeuvres at 300 feet above Colorado River during the descent. We were greeted by the magnificent view of the Hualapai Indian Territories in the middle of the Grand Canyon when we made it down.

We returned to Vegas after seeing the Grand Canyon. We flew over Las Vegas at sunset after passing the Bowl of Fire. Guys, I can assure you that no matter how many times Vegas has been seen, it is not like this.

From Las Vegas, I took the Wind Dancer Grand Canyon Tour. It offers Grand Canyon landings with desert sunsets. It was spectacular, but it is only one of many available flights.

The Vegas Strip Tours are a great option for a quick tour. They’re available both day and night. You can also travel between the Las Vegas Strip or the Hoover Dam for a more extensive adventure. This trip includes a spectacular sunset return to Vegas.

Maverick Helicopters offers tours to the Grand Canyon that last from three and a quarter hours up to thirteen hours. You can customize your adventure to suit your budget and timeframe.

The HeliYoga Limitless is another cool option. This private session is a must-do for any serious yoga enthusiast. It takes you to the Valley of Fire and offers a seventy five-minute session of yoga surrounded by beautiful red rocks.

Maverick Helicopters also offers coverage if you’re going to the Electric Daisy Carnival, June. Enjoy the views from high above and arrive in style with VIP Transfer Service!

Maverick Helicopters, Visit Las Vegas and Visit Arizona were the ones that made my Grand Canyon experience possible. The opinions and content expressed here are my own, as always.
