Scottsdale, AZ Travel Guide

Scottsdale is the perfect place for those who want to escape from the rainy season. May through September can be extremely hot with temperatures reaching near 100 degrees Fahrenheit. Winter months are much cooler, but not as warm. November through March averages in the 70s to 60s during the day.

When to Visit

The best time to plan your Scottsdale trip is November through March. Due to the numerous spring training events and festivals, February and March are the peak months for Scottsdale travel. If you are looking for the best deals, visit April when the temperatures are higher but the crowds smaller.

Old Town Scottsdale is very walkable and has many shops, restaurants, and art. A Trolley is available for those who don’t like to walk. You can also rent various transportation options like bikes, scooters or golf-carts. You can also rent a car at the Phoenix airport to drive 20 minutes to Scottsdale if you prefer driving.
