Toronto Travel Guide

If you are visiting Toronto during the winter months, you should bring a warm jacket. However, you will find the best deals on hotels. There will be low temperatures and possible blizzards. The temperatures start to warm up around mid-March, but it is still possible for unexpectedly cold fronts to occur. The temperature stays stable in the 70s and 80s until May.

When to Visit

From May through September, Toronto is at its best. Even if you don’t like cold weather, this is a great time to visit Toronto. Ideal for smaller groups and warmer temperatures are April and May. You will still need to wear a jacket on the cold nights. There are still great deals on hotels and great events in the city.

Toronto is big but very easy to navigate due to its grid system. There are great public transportation options in Toronto, as with most major cities. Although the subway is the fastest way to travel, if you need to go somewhere that’s not within the limits of the subway, streetcars and buses are also available. You can also rent a car or ride-share to explore the city at your leisure.
